Responsibilities

Job Description:

 

Provide Information Systems Security Engineering support for the government customer.

 

Job Duties Include (but not limited to):

  • Interface with area of operation (AO) offices to ensure knowledge of inherited security policies and procedures as well as future security-related efforts and plans
  • Create and document system security processes, and procedures; assist in the creation of policy for Air Combat Command (ACC)/A2Y approval.
  • Provide oversight of enterprise-level security for each sub-system within the weapon system.
  • Develop approaches to mitigate vulnerabilities and recommend changes to weapon system infrastructure and software components as needed.
  • Ensure that network/system(s) designs support the incorporation of Department of Defense (DoD)-directed IA vulnerability solutions, e.g., Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts.
  • Identify, assess, and recommend IA or IA-enabled products for use within the weapon system; ensure recommended products comply with the DoD evaluation and validation requirements.
  • Ensure that the implementation of security designs properly mitigate identified threats.
  • Design, develop, implement and integrate Command and Control, Intelligence, Surveillance, and ----Reconnaissance (C2ISR) weapon systems' IA architecture, systems and system components for use within computer, network, and enclave environments.
  • Ensure the security architecture and design of C2ISR weapon systems are functional and secure. This shall include architecture and designs for special purpose environments with platform network interconnectivity and those with differing data protection and classification requirements.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Must have at least seven (7) years of Cyber Security engineering experience
  • Must have 8570.1m IA SAE Level II certification
  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN

Desired Skills:

  • Min three (3) years of DCGS experience or;
  • Min three (3) years of Signal Intelligence (SIGINT), Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT), and Open Architecture (OA) experience.
  • 1m IA SAE Level III certifications

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Technical field (Computer, Engineering, or Information Systems) from an accredited university

Security Clearance: 

  • An active TS/SCI security clearance is Required
