    Responsibilities

    Job Description:

    Full-time Systems Engineer position, providing systems integration expertise as part of a cross-functional team for terrestrial-based technical collection.

    Typical Duties Include (but not limited to):

    • Perform algorithm development and analysis to evaluate collection capabilities
    • Provide technical input into full project life-cycle including: CONOPs, requirements development and definition, oversight of system design and developer implementation, systems test and evaluation, deployment and operational implementation
    • Assess technical solutions provided by external developers and provide recommendations to the government
    • Support multiple teams and projects simultaneously
    • Take part in occasional CONUS and OCONUS travel

    Qualifications

    Required Skills & Experience:

    • A minimum of 5 years’ experience supporting DoD/IC
    • Expert level knowledge of sensor development process
    • Experience with EO/IR systems, optics, signal processing and image processing 
    • Knowledge of and previous experience defining technical requirements
    • Experience using Matlab, Python and signal processing tools
    • SETA experience highly desired
    • Knowledge of systems acquisition process highly desired
    • Self-starter who takes initiative
    • Quick to understand tasking
    • Flexible, organized, and understands the big picture
    • Ability to focus on mission critical details
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Critical thinker with proven problem-solving skills
    • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN

     

    Education & Certifications:

    • BS degree or higher in an applicable engineering discipline (i.e., Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc.)

    Security Clearance:

    • An Active Top Secret, with Active SCI, with in-scope Counter-Intelligence (CI) Polygraph is Required
