    Job Description:


    Regarding the Naval Special Warfare Command (NSWC) FA Suite (AKA FleetFocus) and COLTS applications, the Application Support Sepcialist will provide both customer and system level support, with the guidance and aid of the Application Administrator and Program Manager of each system.

    Job Duties Include (but not limited to):

    • Obtain and maintain a full understanding of assigned applications.

      • In order to provide sufficient customer service and system level support, the Application Support Specialist will be required to obtain and maintain a full understanding of the applications assigned to their position. 
    • Provide professional level customer service and support for assigned applications.

      • Customer service and support includes, but is not limited to, responding to and answering customer concerns through email, phone calls, instant message, and trouble ticket submissions, to include follow-up, during the solution phase and after resolution. 
    • Assist and perform system level support and duties for assigned applications.

      • System support duties include, but are not limited to, report creation and modifications, creation and modification of application training documentation, creation and modification of DoD required system documentation, and application testing for patches, bug fixes, and new versions of assigned applications. 
    • Perform other duties, as needed, for assigned applications.


    Required Skills & Experience:

    • DoD IAT Level II compliance (Security+ or equivalent) Within 90 days of hire
    • Experience with application level customer support
    • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Able to work in teams and have strong interpersonal skills
    • Passion and experience in customer service
    • Strong computer, reasoning, and research skills
    • Strong skills in Microsoft common programs (Ecel, Visio, and PowerPoint)

    Education & Certifications:

    • B.A. or B.S. degree in a technical discipline preferred

    Security Clearance: 

    • An active SECRET security clearance is Required
