    Responsibilities

    The systems integration and test role shall perform hardware and software systems integration and test activities to verify and validate the proper functionality of Command and Control interface tools and supporting communications systems (both hardware and software) for use on an autonomous, remotely piloted surface vessel.

     

    Software and Hardware integration and test activities will include bench, unit, module, subsystem, and system level testing to verify functionality of discrete software components, in addition to testing the integration of those components with other software, subsystems, and systems. All testing will be in support of the integration, test, and deployment of both hadware and software components. The testing will be performed with an agile methodology inside of a scrum-like development environment; iterative testing will be conducted during each iteration. This position will require participation in the identification, documentation, and reporting of deficiencies discovered in testing, and validating that deficiencies have been corrected.

     

    The Senior Test Engineer will be doing SoS testing related to CISCO networks and military Satcom systems moreso than actual software testing. In addition, they sometimes will work inside the lab, but most of the time will be reading documents and writing test procedures in cubicle.

    Qualifications

    Required Skills & Experience:

    • Requirements analysis for authorization, certification, and accreditation of developmental systems
    • Preparation, documentation, delivery, and review of formal test forms, reports, processes, and procedures
    • Preparation, review, and delivery of testing collateral in support of authorizations to install, test, operate, and deploy complex Command and control systems
    • Setup, operation and maintenance of test tools to collect test data for analysis and reporting
    • Strong familiarity with data analysis techniques, tools and statistical reporting for DoD systems
    • Familiarity with SysML for reviewing design documentation and developing test procedures
    • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN 

    Desired Skills:

    • Experience using the Atlassian suite of tools
    • Experience in testing cross-domain solutions
    • Experience with participation in scrum teams
    • Experience with Command and Control systems for manned and unmanned vehicles strongly desired

     

     

    Education & Certifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering related discipline preferred, with emphasis on Systems Engineering or Integration

    Security Clearance: 

    • An active SECRET clearance is required
